Hotel Sky Sandton - Johannesburg

The friendly staff, and the beautifully decorated hotel was a pleasure to explore. I especially enjoyed the convenience of the nearby shopping and dining options.

The shower temperature was inconsistent.

We asked for a double room and it was trendy.

Although the breakfast itself was marvellous, it certainly has to be included.

Helpful staff members are in all areas.

I expected quite a bit more from sky, sandton. My 'standard' room was laughably small, and it didn't even have an ironing board, unbelievable! Services were painfully slow at the bar, with only one poor soul trying to manage everything. I really thought they'd throw in a complimentary breakfast for the hassle, but apparently not, how disappointing.

The food was nice - variety of options. New-fashioned units with refrigerator, the bedroom, for instance, and the staff were incredibly welcoming.

Compact double room in full view of the bedroom. Fantastic selection for breakfast with a wide hot, unlimited options, well prepared hot meals. Stunning setting, really close to Sandton Convention Center, and the malls and other major features such as clubs centres and entertainment centres. Very quick check-in and excellent service...

The staff was super accommodating, helped me with my early check-in 🤗 The gym needs more machines, and the fridge issue was a bummer. Great vibes around Sandton, just fix up those basics!

All good - we appreciated this hip new hotel - the food was amazing and the staff were efficient and incredible. Although the breakfast definitely should have been included, it was delicious and perfect.

Well, the views were not very good here.

Service to make a difference

The staff's friendliness stood out! I felt welcomed every time I interacted with them. Plus, the hotel's location is perfect-close to shopping and transport.

The room felt cramped with little space to move. I missed having a mini-fridge, and I was disappointed with the lack of proper breakfast options available to guests.

Standard room disappointingly small, lacking basic amenities like a fridge and ironing board. Showers cramped, with awkward sink placement next to the door. Limited privacy with toilet and sink configuration. No view from the first floor.

Great location with secure parking. Poolside snack bar was nice, but noise from neighbors was bothersome.

I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the clean environment. I was able to use the fitness center, a nice touch. There were plenty of places to explore within walking distance. I found it amusing when a group of travelers arrived and filled the area with noise, but it eventually quieted down.

The restaurant did not meet expectations, and the coffee situation was inconvenient. There were times I couldn't find any coffee-making options in the room.

Fine Views and Amazing Dining Experience

I was blown away by the amazing views from my room. The restaurant was a highlight, with delicious meals, especially the Mozambiquan chicken that was an absolute treat! The staff were really good too. The self-check-in process was a bit confusing and could use improvement.

The hotel is conveniently located near a mall. The clean environment was a pleasant surprise, especially for the price we paid. We also enjoyed the decent gym facilities.
